His professional journey in the F&B Industry took him from his home country Germany all the way to South East Asia. Now based in Singapore he is passionate about all things Culinary Arts, from food and cooking to industry trends and education.

Lubna Ali

Director of Marketing and Development - Africa & Middle East

Lubna has been a member of the Swiss Education Group for almost 11 years and today is responsible for marketing & recruitment across the Middle East, North Africa and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). She is fully updated with the programs, admissions procedures and scholarship opportunities at SEG. As a hospitality management graduate herself (an alumna of César Ritz Colleges) with extensive working experience in 5-star hotels, Lubna has a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and is a firm believer of personalized service.

Chef David Alvarez

Chef instructor at Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland

Chef David Alvarez comes originally from Mexico and works as a chef instructor at the Bouveret Campus of the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland.
He is trained in French Gastronomy and Food and Beverage service in Paris. Chef David joined the committee for the first Mexican Gastronomic Forum as Humanity World Heritage in 2011, to introduce and showcase Mexican chocolate art and its cocoa beans abroad.
