Now in its eighth year, the World Culinary Awards celebrates excellence and innovation in the global culinary industry. We are proud to be considered among the leading institutions shaping the next generation of chefs and food entrepreneurs.

A phenomenal location feeds our curriculum

Perched on the shores of Lake Geneva and just a stone’s throw from the French border, our institution is surrounded by natural beauty and world-class gastronomic resources. Students benefit from access to the UNESCO-listed Lavaux vineyards and Switzerland’s renowned wine regions of Vaud and Valais, as well as the pristine, seasonal ingredients the country is known for.

Our proximity to France and Italy, combined with an international team of chefs and educators, provides endless inspiration and enables a truly global culinary approach—reflective of our philosophy and the legacy of Cuisine Naturelle, as pioneered by our Honorary Dean, Anton Mosimann OBE.

An iconic legacy to inspire the future

Anton Mosimann OBE, an icon in the culinary world and arguably the most celebrated Swiss chef, serves as the Honorary Dean of Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland. Famous for his refined, health-conscious “Cuisine Naturelle,” Mosimann earned two Michelin stars early in his career before opening his private dining club in London.

A favorite of the Queen Mother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, he cooked for four generations of the British royal family, he served unnumerable state and presidential banquets for world leaders across the globe, and created memorable meals for a host of international celebrities. His legacy continues to inspire our students to pursue excellence with creativity, integrity, and international flair.

Excellence that extends beyond the kitchen

Each year, aspiring chefs from around the world choose Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland for its unique blend of tradition, innovation, internationalism, and hands-on training. Our graduates go on to achieve extraordinary success: alumni regularly win medals at the Culinary Olympics, open their own restaurants, and work in Michelin-starred establishments around the world. This nomination is a tribute to their talent, ambition, and dedication to the culinary arts.

Culinary Arts Academy is a truly unique learning environment—catering to international students and offering a multi-disciplinary, globally inspired culinary education. If you believe our school is one of a kind, please vote and help us bring home the gold!
