Into its 22nd year, the annual WGS has grown to become a premier gastronomic event that celebrates culinary excellence globally.

The month-long event was officially launched on 3 April 2018, with the annual Awards of Excellence Presentation where Swiss Education Group presented Lifetime Achievement Awards to two individuals whose significant contributions have led to the promotion and growth of excellence within the Food & Beverage industry in Singapore.

Following the Awards of Excellence Presentation the Opening Reception for WGS 2018 commenced where over 800 guests including Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland alumni and partners were in attendance.

Global trends in culinary arts

This year, we are presenting unique cuisines that are starting to trend globally but have yet to come into the spotlight here in Singapore. We are delighted to have Swiss Education Group join us as a Premium Partner for the first time this year and look forward to continuing developing this partnership by supporting SEG’s efforts to nurture culinary and hospitality talents of tomorrow.
