Student LifeBronze Medal at the International Culinary Olympics

Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland student brings home a bronze medal for her culinary skills.

Current student Amy Cho showed off her culinary competences during the International Culinary Olympics held in Germany. Known as one of the most international culinary competitions in the world, the Culinary Olympics are held every 4 years and attract gourmets, gastronomists and top chefs from around the globe.

Amy brought home the bronze in the individual category representing her home country South Korea. While preparing for the Culinary Olympics, she was working full-time at the Kameha Grand Zurich Hotel.

“My colleagues at work helped me a lot in the preparation and testing of my recipes as I did not have a well-equipped kitchen at home. I am very grateful for the support I received at work. We even used my winning recipe in the service”.

Amy is currently working towards her Masters degree in hospitality at the Brig campus and plans to continue towards a doctoral agree upon graduation.
